jparass, presumably your GP just focused on your TSH which is below the range. Too many GP's do this and leave their patients ill. The important numbers are T4 and T3 which are thyroid hormones. (TSH is a pituitary hormone) many GP's are happy if your numbers are just in range. The patient needs their numbers to be optimal.
look at thyroid.dopiaza.org and input your numbers on 100 mcgm your FT4 is 40% through range which isn't optimal and your T3 is 77%through range.
on the lower dose your t4 is 22.7through range, way too low and T3 is reduced to 66% through range. You need to have your vitamins tested D, B12 , also folate and ferritin and try a different GP.
