Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Is this how you did your test

Request next 25mcg dose increase in Levo

Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least once year minimum

what vitamin supplements are you taking

When were vitamin levels at last test

Is your hypothyroidism autoimmune

About 90% of primary hypothyroidism is autoimmune thyroid disease, usually diagnosed by high TPO and/or high TG thyroid antibodies

Autoimmune thyroid disease with goitre is Hashimoto’s

Autoimmune thyroid disease without goitre is Ord’s thyroiditis.

Both are autoimmune and generally called Hashimoto’s.

Significant minority of Hashimoto’s patients only have high TG antibodies (thyroglobulin)

Low vitamin levels are extremely common when hypothyroid, especially with autoimmune thyroid disease

20% of autoimmune thyroid patients never have high thyroid antibodies and ultrasound scan of thyroid can get diagnosis

In U.K. medics hardly ever refer to autoimmune thyroid disease as Hashimoto’s (or Ord’s thyroiditis)

look like you could up your dose to 100mcgs and see how you feel. There’s room to improve those TFTs.🤷‍♀️

Conversion looks good,it’s recommended 4 or under and think yours is coming in at 3.4.Personally I would be increasing to 100mcg,retest in 8 weeks and tweak if necessary. Also recommended on here by many that TSH be under 1.As a comparison my last TSH was 0.09 and that was before I introduced a little T3 which will have suppressed it further and yet I feel much better. Before I took matters into my own hands my GP refused to do anything unless TSH was over 10.That’s what relevance TSH has!!

I’m lifting this from a response in your last post a month ago - as it clarifies the numbers (ignoring the anomaly T4 reading of 22). You’re following up on the ones a month ago as follows:

TSH 2.39 mIU/L (0.35 - 4.94) 44.4%

Free T4 (fT4) 11.7 pmol/L (9 - 19) 27.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 3.3 pmol/L (2.4 - 6) 25.0%

T4:T3 Ratio 3.545

As consistently noted above : You are converting fine. You need increase to 100 Levo for 6-8 weeks and then retest.

You could increase 12.5 for a couple weeks then add the additional 12.5.
