D3 & K2 MK7 sublingual

Anyone tried this one? Liking the look of the ratio... any feelings on "fractionated coconut oil MCT"?

Guineapiggy rattled my cage about K2 so thought I might increase it a little for the sake of bone health... and a little cheaper than my usual Nature Provides 😏

I take something similar (a different brand as I’m in the US) and I can vouch that it is highly absorbed. Been taking it for years. Love that it isn’t a pill and I quite enjoy the peppermint version.

Thanks 🤗 I'm all for sublingual whenever possible

I can't quite make out the label, how much K2 are you recommended to take as it seems to vary around the world?

The one I take is 1400 IU (35 mcg) Vit D3 and 20mcg Vit K2 per drop. I typically take 1-3 drops daily in the morning and the dosage varies based upon my Vit D levels, which are tested three times/year. I prefer my Vit D level to be in the 80-100 ng/mL range and will adjust dosage up or down to keep in that range. I’ve never had a recommendation for Vit K2 dose…. from what I know it is just there to help Vit D absorption.

I’m in the Uk & buy this from Amazon. Like the taste & my levels have increased steadily. I’ve recommended it on here several times. I think the oil helps absorption.

Thanks Bert, yes the sublingual has always worked well for me Nature Provides uses Black Seed Oil which is an acquired taste 🙃

Hi, sorry I didn’t make clear that it’s the SBR coconut oil one that I like. Disturbed night with ancient dog! Shouldn’t write answers before a cup of tea!

You and me both! Dogs have been on one since 4am 🙃

I couldn't find it on Amazon have you got a link?

I can only find the SBR olive oil one

My reply seems to have disappeared. Obviously one of those days. The coconut one is out of stock at Amazon, apparently I’ve bought it 6 times so must like it! It’s available on eBay but I don’t know about the retailers.

The olive oil one sounds ok. Is that on Amazon?

Only on Amazon America couldn't find it at all on the UK site, how does your one compare with this other one?

Ebay one is strangely weaker...

I'm not sure if you are aware of this : 25 mcg Vitamin D is equivalent to 1000 iU.

Yes, the Ebay one stats 25mcg (1000iu) per 5 drops and the Anumegeo is 25mcg per drop... it does all get bloomin confusing trying to compare them 😣

realised that the one I’ve been using has more olive oil than MCT oil. Can’t find a just olive oil one so it’s probably the same one. Seems out of stock on Amazon USA too. Probably leaves eBay or another American stockist.

Oh, Maybe I’ll have to look for an alternative too.

Hadn't realized MCT was a coconut thing but turns out they can make it from palm kernels too...

Prefer the sublingual where I can as it works better I find and adjustable throughout the seasons

I’ve not tried that one.

I use one in attached picture, on subscription as it’s cheaper and always got it in then…Ive been ok with it but not had my levels checked yet should be May time.

The other I’ve used is Better You 3000 with K2 but I wasn’t getting enough, and the acacia caused me a gut issue, well I’m assuming that.

Interesting thanks... that is quite a strong one isn't it

I'm not a fan of Better You too many excipients and awful flavours

I've been taking this D3+K2 for a few months now and getting retested in the next few weeks. Will be interesting to see where my levels are with it, although my nutritionist had me drop the dose as she was twitchy about me taking too much. I do have a genetic SNP that means I require more D3.

I like that its a higher dose whch I need.

I'm also taking their Omega 3 supplement which is really helping.

Another option for you in the UK. water-for-health.co.uk/prod...

I've tried most of their vitamins. This is next to try when my current stock runs out. I think my low stomach acid is causing poor absorbsion as I've been taking 5000iu vit D for a long time with very little improvement.

Hope you get sorted.

Looks good... not heard of them before 🤗

It's an American brand the vit D (they also used to do a sublingual tablet, but it was discontinued), their own vitamins are made in the UK with low exipients. They are more about quality not quantity. I need to do more work on my gut.

Looks like the one without K2 is on offer
