HNY everyone! I got my test results back from the GP today. She did a full MOT (although didn’t include vit d or ferritin) but I’m not sure what they mean or if they are optimal.
My vit b12 is 502 (197-771)
Serum folate is 8th/L (3.0-26.8)
My thyroid results are meaningless as I had taken my meds (levo and t3) a few hours prior to the test as I was unaware that those would be included. GP says I’m overreplaced as my TSH was 0.01 and FT4 was 18 (12-22) and is normally around about 11 if I time my meds properly. In this case I’m glad she didn’t test FT3 because it would have been through the roof!!!
My Eosinophil count was 0.21 (0.02-0.1) which I understand from Dr Google means that I may have adrenal insufficiency (no surprise there!). There are many other results but I have no idea what they are or mean. However, apparently all within range.
I have looked but can’t find what my serum folate levels or vit b12 should be to be optimal. Any advice would be appreciated. 🙏🏻

You are not "over replaced" The T3 you are taking will drop the TSH, usually to well below the "normal" level. Your T4 should be in the upper third of the range. Dont let her drop your dose on this one test.
GPs no longer test Vit D as they say everyone is under the range due to our climate. It is a shame she did not do ferritin as that is an important one.
Folate should be above 3, I cannot find a range on my notes, just above 3.
Vit B12 range here is 180-900 ng/L . These are from tests I have had done but your lab ranges could be different.
I would ask for another test when you have not taken your thyroid meds, and ask for it to include ferritin. Hope this helps.
thanks for the reply. Yes, I’m aware that I’m not overreplaced. My TSH has been suppressed for years since I started the combination treatment but I’ve recently been handed back to the Gp from an endo clinic and after a discussion with her she has agreed to leave me on my current dose and recheck in 6 months but I’ll be ready for my blood test then. As for the vit d, my levels are good/high. I do medichecks tests 3 or 4 times a year so I keep an eye on my levels. My ferritin has been high in the past but I was surprised at my latest b12 result (which had been much higher) and folate and wasn’t sure where they should be in the range to be optimal.
