By the way, coffee should be avoided both before and after taking levo, for at least an hour. Not because it stops levo working, but affects its absorption in the gut. Also, if it's just before a blood test, it will lower your TSH, so best left until after the blood draw.

I was under the mistaken impression that coffee cannot be taken before and after Levo because of the milk in the coffee. Does caffeine also affect absorption?
