How much to increase?

Good morning allI've had a few creeping symptoms recently, very irritable, less energy, needing to nap or rest more, niggles in my left hand and wrist, a morning of brain fog, a few palpitations which all seemed to come to head with very bad PMT last week when I was very tearful for a few days. I have done some Medichecks bloods 20th Dec following the procedure on here and my levels have dropped from my 25th Oct bloods.

I'm wondering whether this is a seasonal thing, or whether there might have been another autoimmune attack. In November I felt extremely stressed, there was a lot going on at work and had two performances in my hobby which I was nervous for . I had some terrible sleeping and felt pretty wired really. Could have just been circumstantial but I did wonder during those weeks whether I could be overreplaced, hashi swing.

Anyway, turns out I'm not overreplaced and levels are lower than 2 months ago. I feel I should increase. I suppose I'm nervous to as I don't feel terribly hypo right now. Just a few things creeping in but things went down hill for me this time last year and I ended up with all of January and February off work trying to get back on track, and adjusting my T3 T4 ratio.

I also feel a bit nervous as I'm on a fair dosage already 100mcg T4 and 20mgT3. I'm 41 and only weigh 8st 8.

On my prescription I have 100mcg levo tablets and 20mcg lio tablets plus 10cmg lio capsules( which I've never tried. I'm actually taking less T3 than what I'm prescribed as I found I didn't need as much and was over medicated). I have a stockpile so can increase freely for a few months with no issue.

So thinking of increasing T4. I feel there is plenty of room to make a film 25mcg step up but it just seems a lot! But also want to get sorted asap. As I said last winter things went very badly for me so want to nip anything like that in the bud!

This is long, but sometimes it's just helpful to articulate thoughts to the ether when there's no one IRL who actually understands as you guys do!

Some people do need to increase their dose in winter, and reduce again when it gets warmer. You could try a 12.5 mcg increase and see how it goes.

Thank you. I think I could very well be one of those people! I feel much better in the sun without a doubt!
