High TSH, increasing TPO antibodies, latest results!

Hi everyone!

I'll be a pin cushion by the time I'm done doing these home blood tests.....

So I decided to do the full health plus tpo from Monitor My Health (who currently have 20% off all their tests, annoyingly!) on Monday, results came back early this morning.

I will upload screenshots rather than type them all out if that's ok....

I wanted to see what you lovely people thought of my latest results. I don't have a diagnosis but I'm seeing the GP on Friday to discuss all these test results. What would you all say to the GP if you were in my shoes? I'm really fed up with the symptoms now, fatigue, feeling cold, hair falling out like crazy, my throat always feeling like something is blocking it.....and I'm worried she will do nothing or just prescribe me iron tablets (test also showed I'm anemic).

Thanks in advance.

This looks like an MMH test. Have you had similar results on the NHS?

To get a diagnosis and begin treatment you need 2x TSH results above range 3 months apart on the NHS although as this was an MMH test it might count, MMH being an NHS lab.

Positive TPO antibodies signify that you have autoimmune hypothyroidism aka Hashimoto's disease. Your thyroid is slowly destroyed over many years. In the early stages your thyroid puts up a huge struggle to put out more hormone but eventually cant keep up with the need for hormone.

In the early stages your TSH will fluctuate between being within range and above range. It can also go below range.

Looking at your vitamin results, they are terrible. Could you ask your GP to test you for coeliac disease?

Have you shown or discussed these results with your GP as you are anaemic.

GP should prescribe iron tablets which in time will help you feel a little better. Take them with orange juice to help them absorb.

Your B12 & particularly folate is low. We recommend a good methyl/active type B complex to keep all the B's in balance. Choose one from below:

amazon.co.uk/Liposomal-Soft...

Contains B6 as P5P an active form:

Explanation about the different forms of B6:

Is there a vit D result somewhere?

Sorry your post got missed. Likely as there were 6 replies to it to start with so it looked like someone had answered you at a glance. If that happens again then just repost.

Forgot to say, blood was taken first thing Monday morning, before I'd eaten/drank. I'm not on any thyroid meds or vitamins currently.
