Monitor My Health

When is the best day to take my blood sample once I receive a pack if I use Monitor My Health. I remember some advice on here regarding a specific day to test.

Also, is the turnaround quite quick?

Thank you for your help

That info will be in the letter that comes with the kit. However, if I recall correctly, MMH usually say to only post Monday - Wednesday (or that might even be Mon-Thursday), to avoid getting caught up in weekend postal delays.

I've used MMH many times over the years and find their service has always been speedy. If I post on a Tuesday for example, results are back by the end of the week. Frequently, I get the email notification of my results the day after they receive the kit.

Obviously, they may be a little slower at busy times.

I did one of their tests (the full health plus antibodies) on Monday morning, by Wednesday early hours I had my results! I've done one test with them before, sent it off on the Wednesday I think and had my results by the Friday. Very quick turnaround in my experience, some will advise you to send it special delivery but they include a 24 tracked envelope and majority of the time the sample does arrive back the next day.

Since they have their 20% off offer this week I imagine they'll be quite busy so I'd bear that it mind before taking your test.

I agree with you, never found a need to do special delivery. That said, I have always put mine directly into the RM Priority Mail Box, which is within walking distance of my house.

Thank you for this information. It is good to know that the turnaround is quick and also about the special offer.

Thank you this is helpful to know. It sounds an efficient service and one that we really need when having to request more bloods than GP agrees to.
