OK bloods...Still plateauing??

Hi again šŸ‘‹About 7 weeks ago I increased my levo from 50mcg to 75mcg after discussing here. Initially, revved up again. Happy days- more energy, lost a small bit of weight, mood improved etc. I have started slipping back again and thought I'd get my bloods done again before I do anymore 'tinkering'.

Please let me know your thoughts on new results...

TSH 0.731 (0.27-4.2) prev: 1.9

Free T3 4.5 (3.1-6.8) prev 4.6

Free T4 19.1 (12-22) prev 17.1

ThyG Ab 13.4 (9-115)

ThP Ab. <9 (0-34)

Following vitamin regime as advised here.

I just wonder why my bloods seem ok and I'm slowing down again after another initial boost.

Thanks in anticipation šŸ˜Š

Retest again in another 8 weeks, including vitamin levels

which brand of levothyroxine are you using

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine

Make sure all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

You should see TSH creep back up a little and hopefully Ft3 start to increaseā€¦..Ft4 may begin to drop

Then would be ready for next dose increase in levothyroxine

Thankyou SlowDragon. I'm still on Teva. No change. Blood test protocol followed as per advised here. I might be jumping the gun but am wondering about adding T3- probably too soon?!

GF and Dairy Free. Anti inflammatory/ pescatarian diet. Awaiting on gallbladder surgery. Seems this what you get for a lifetime of being good and avoiding all the fun stuff! šŸ™„ OK, I'll try to be more patient. InbreathiatelšŸ™
