Hi lovely folks, I hope everyone is having a good day today.
I had some really great advice a little while ago in regards to my results and I’ve been lurking ever since - everyone is so helpful & it’s helped me not feel so alone - thank you for that .
These are my new results after upping my thyroxine to 75mcg from 50mcg, & going gluten, soy and dairy free!
I think from what I can gather they’re ok, the dr has just requested another test for another 2 months time, (I presume incase I become over medicated)...
I’m still struggling with exhaustion, vertigo and balance problems which are really making it hard to function normally. (I’m working on my vitamin levels which I know could be contributing factors to this).
But the symptoms I’ve had for the last year before my thyroid levels went array in September are the same symptoms I had before initial diagnosis years ago.
Contrary to the GP’s belief I know I’m not just ‘anxious’ - I knew months ago before my figures went off that something was going on with my thyroid due to my symptoms (& because most of my eyebrows fell out - AGAIN grr!)
I’ve been reading a lot about balance issues & research showing high thyroid antibodies causing damage to the surrounding balance systems...I feel like it really makes sense!
So....I really don’t know if this is a stupid question or if it’s obvious...(I’m really sorry if so!) but can the autoimmune aspect of all this make us feel very unwell despite our ‘numbers’ being ‘ok’?
Sorry for the long rambling post, & if it really is a silly question!
Best wishes to everyone
Lou xx
