Diagnosed in 2015 started on 100mg levothyroxine in May 2015 and in 2016 started 20mg of liothyronine with NHS endo but have never felt optimal, always cold, achy, low mood and cannot lose weight, I now have a private apt with Endo mid Novemeber. Recently asked GP for full blood tests above and been told I am stable???? Was also diagonosed in 2021 with osteoporosis and am now on Risdronate tablet once per week. Am 48 years old female with suspected early menopause and in 2022 started hrt - Am starting to feel I just have to put up with this is how I will always feel - any advise on blood tests before endo apt welcome. Thanks! All bloods done first thing with no drugs 24hrs beforehand.

You don't feel optimal because you're not optimal. Your FT3 is low. You could do with an increase in your T3 dose.
Your ferritin is also too low. Have you had your other nutrients tested? Vit D, vit B12 and folate?
Thanks for agreeing I was beginning to think i was going mad Ive got this for B12 dont have VitD but do use the better you D3000+k2 thanks again
They're both much too low. And they will be adding to your symptoms. Vit B12 should be at least over 550, and folate over half-way through the range.
thanks so much for the advice I'll take this up at private apt - thanks!
You're welcome. But, don't be surprised if he tells you that your levels are 'fine' - or even perfect! - because doctors know nothing about nutrients and think that anything anywhere within the range just has to be 'fine'. They don't go in for nuances!
do you think the better you b-complete spray would be a good place to start with the b-12 and folate and an iron spray as well or is there something else you would recommend?
Well, I really couldn't say because I don't like sprays myself. I prefer pills. But, they always say on here that it's best to start on B12 first, for a week or so, and then add the B complex with folate. And the B12 that is recommended is a sublingual methylcobalamin. And given how low your B12 is, I think it would be a good idea to do it that way. Then when you've finished the pot of B12, just continue with the B complex.
And it's also recommended that you get a full iron panel done before supplementing iron. Because ferritin can be low, but serum iron good, and you don't want to over-load on iron.
But whatever sort of iron you take - even if it's in the form of liver - you need a source of vit C with it to help absorption and avoid constipation.
