It is perfectly likely I've just not noticed this before 🙃
But I do wonder how it effects your results, how do they alter them... they are what they are??

it is a new box and, very sensibly, if you tick it they say that they cannot interpret them and you should speak to your doctor. Previously I found their interpretations ridiculous!
Well that’s progress, they never had that option before
Poor way of wording it though
It's not so much that being on thyroid hormone replacement 'affects' or 'alters' results - although it should bring the TSH down, and increase the FT4 and FT3 - it's more that it affects the interpretation of the results. We always ask the same question on here when a first-time poster posts their results. We need to know if you're looking for a diagnosis, for example. A TSH of 3 wouldn't get you a diagnosis if you didn't have one. But, a TSH of 3 when taking levo would mean that you're under-medicated.
Exact wording on result….
“We are unable to provide interpretation of results for people diagnosed with a thyroid condition or on thyroid medication. This is because the monitoring of thyroid disorders needs to look at thyroid results together with how you are feeling such as ongoing symptoms. Your usual healthcare provider is best placed to assess your treatment and should be consulted before any changes to your medication.”
