Hi I am abroad at moment, no calculator! and had bloods taken results are

TSH 1.4. 0.35-4.9 range

FT4 1.02 0.71-1.85 range

FT3 2.08 1.8-4.2 range

current dose 100mg 3 days 75 mg every 4th day.

Is the ft3 low?

Well, you don't need a calculator to see that the FT3 is low, but yes, it's only 11.67% through the range.

If you want a quick, rough calculation, just add the top of the range to the bottom of the range and divide by 2. That will give you mid-range: 1.8+4.2=6 so mid-range (50%) is 3. Your result is only 2.08.

But your FT4 is only 27.19% through the range, so you're obviously under-medicated.

FT4: 1.02 pmol/l (Range 0.71 - 1.85)

Ft4 only 27.19% through range

FT3: 2.08 pmol/l (Range 1.8 - 4.2)

Ft3 only 11.67% through range

Assuming you did test as recommended, early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Suggest you increase to 100mcg daily and then look to increase to 112.5mcg daily soon
