I've just had my 1st conversation with my new doctor.
She started by saying that ".....your TSH is low, but that is explained by the fact that you're taking T4 & T3, so how do you feel?"
She didn't know that T3 can now be prescribed again, but she does now.
We had a sensible conversation and I'm going back to the Endo to try & get my T3 reinstated on the NHS and up my T4 to where I felt good. No mention of high blood pressure or bone loss, neither of which I have, but which my last GP used to reduce my T4.
Added bonus.... I'm going to get B12 injections every 3 months instead of having to do it myself!
What a breath of fresh air, I'm not getting everything I want today but at least it's now being considered.
