Thybon Henning 20

After nearly 8 years of being on Thybon Henning 20, I have been informed there is an issue at Manufactory level and they cannot supply my prescription. After trying many other T3 medications, Thybon was the only T3 that I felt better on. Does anyone know if this is going to be an on going issue, or where I can find out.

Many thanks in advance

Which T3 brands have you tried

Teva is lactose free (like Thybon Henning)

The only brands that are licensed are Teva, Mercury Pharma or Morningside

You could get Thybon prescribed privately

It’s not expensive on private prescription

Current T3 prices - see reply by Beads

I have tried them all. I have memory issues so I cannot remember the reason why Thybon was the only T3 I could tolerate. I will search my records and come back to you.

Thank you for your reply

I've had a look around to try to find any information suggesting a shortage of Thybon Henning. And I can't find anything.

This could be due to my poor German, bad searching, things being hidden behind paywalls and "professionals only" barriers.

But I wouldn't have tried unless I'd thought I had some chance of finding out.

I'm afraid I am suspicious of the person who told you, or the person who told them.

Have you tried different pharmacies? Such as Roseway.

I have tried all the local pharmacies. I was told by the local CoOp who have been supplying my Thybon for a number of years that their supplier contacted the manufacturer and they have no supply. It has been over 2 months since the CoOp received my last prescription and they now say they cannot supply. When I phoned my surgery they said they were not surprised as many medications are getting harder to supply. I have not tried Roseway, but I will.

I too became suspicious that I was not being given the correct information.

Thank you so much for all your research, it is very much appreciated. Thank you also for the advice on Roseway.
