This poster abstract describes the attitudes of medics as to the frequency of T4 or T4/T3 medication in a multi-country accumulation of data. The medics are satisfied that only a very few patients needed T3. But what did the patients think? This is yet another study designed for the benefit of prescribers not the prescribed. It's assumed without evidence that they are completely happy with their prescription. Note the 1.7% T3 prescription users versus the 10-15% who in other studies feel the need for T3 in some form. Seems to be a gap in logic here. In this study it's the prescribers satisfaction, whereas in the other it's the patient complaint.
