My results demonstrate very poor T3 conversion +now await to see if she will agree to blood tests for vit levels for Vit D, B12, ferritin etc. May I ask, if she believes these are 'within range' (that's if she agrees to the blood tests), what can I do to improve these levels? Presently I take D3/K2+B12. Thank you for all your help, lovely people.

Lottyplum,

A GP's 'normal' will usually be below the optimised levels we know many need to get their thyroid hormone meds working best.

Levels can be raised through supplements and improved healthy diet and life style but we often find once one thing starts to raise others will follow, eg raise iron and suddenly Vit B12 is being better utilised, etc.

The effects of optimised levels can take several months for full effects to be felt by thyroid hormones and if FT3 still fail to raise it may be you need to add a little T3 meds.

If you post results (when you get them) complete with ranges (numbers in brackets) members will comment.
