FT4: 17.4 pmol/l (Range 12 - 22)

Ft4 only 54.00% through range

FT3: 4.1 pmol/l (Range 3.1 - 6.8)

Ft3 low at only 27.03% through range

Assuming test done early morning, last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Shows you need dose increase in levothyroxine

Currently poor conversion of Ft4 to Ft3

Likely low vitamin levels

Thanks SlowDragon. I appreciate you looking at my results. I don't think that there is any way my GP will increase my dose. I will probably need to look into seeking out an endocrinologist privately. I am in the process of testing my b12, iron and vitamin d. Historically, I have been low with all of them and have sought to replace them.

what vitamin supplements are you taking

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested

As you have Hashimoto’s are you gluten free and/or dairy free

Hiya, I take a high strength multivitamin and am gluten free. I eat cheese occasionally as I seem to tolerate it.

Multivitamins never recommended on here

Most contain iodine not recommended for anyone on levothyroxine

And never take iron unless tested and found deficient. At best a multivitamin is a waste of money, but could actually be making your symptoms worse

You need to test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin levels and then …..depending on results…..take a Separate vitamin D, separate B12 and/or separate vitamin B complex
