tingly/prickly chin

very strange but about 2ish months into starting Levothyroxine, I’ve had a tingly/prickly chin that came once and went again and is now back 😢. Seems to come on late afternoon and will remain until I’m asleep at night (wondered if this times with TSH dropping throughout the day). Googled it (bad idea as I have awful health anxiety) and it said numb chin syndrome = cancer. Went to GP today who couldn’t explain why I’m experiencing it as my neck feels fine and she is checking my thyroid levels again. Anyone had anything similar?!

As you’re only on 100mcg levothyroxine, you may be ready for next dose increase in levothyroxine up to 125mcg

Make sure you test early morning, ideally just before 9am. Only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Remember to stop taking vitamin B complex 3-5 days before test as contains biotin

You ideally need Ferritin, folate, B12 and vitamin D retested

May have to test privately
