Tingly mouth/chin/upper lip & neck

I've noticed that the lower half of my face will, on occassion, start to tingle. It's uncomfortable. The only thing I can liken it to really is when you put a facemask on, wait for it to dry and then move your face. It goes all tight and weird!

I have just finished my lunch and wondering if it's happening with food. (which today was roast sweet potato and roasted veggies: carrots, courgette, brocolli, red cabbage and a jarred tomato sauce.

Google says blood sugar drop or allergies.

Assuming it's not my blood sugar as i've just finished eating, and I've no other symptoms.

It could be an allergy I guess but it feels surface; my neck is tight, not my throat.

Has anyone had similar?

Edit: TiggerMe What is a histamine reaction? What were your symptoms? how did you know you needed to lower your intake?

Do any deficiencies of the B vitamins ring any bells for you?

In your shoes I would suggest your B2 (Riboflavin) or your B12 may be too low.

I've been religiously taking my B complex for a couple of months now so I'd hope they're improving!

I'll have a look now and see. Thank you! :D

I'd dropped back to just Thorne Basic B having been just over range using a sub lingual and I'm only mid range now 😕... I've added back in a sub lingual B12 a few times a week

A cheap experiment you could try is to take Dioralyte or other rehydration salts

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oral_...

to see if taking some of the basic electrolytes (sodium and potassium) helps.

There are quite a few different electrolytes, and high or low levels can cause lots of symptoms.

I was drinking an adrenal cocktail every day for awhile actually with coconut water so i wonder if that was making a difference.

I wish I was better at keeping notes and tracking symptoms. 🤣

Hmmm... I only get that sort of sensation when I have a coldsore waiting to erupt.

That sort of lunch would be high sugar as roasting things releases the sugars...

The tomato in that mix would be the biggest reaction for me (probably with added sugar in the jar?)... nightshades 🤮mixed with high sugar 🤢

Histamine for me means nausea, vagus nerve pain in back of neck, migraine and often an IBS attack... you don't really get any warning you just get swamped, some foods act as a release which can trigger it... when your little bucket overflows ☹️
