Hello All,
I've been struggling to work out my thyroxine dose for 4-5 months (raised TSH of 6, 30% T3 level, ), and things are not getting any better. Actually, getting worst - sleep problems, nightmares, anxiety, low appetite, a lot of fatigue, I struggle function during the day.
I've tried endless things with levo dose increase and still not getting anywhere. I've tried adding T3 as well, and it didn't work. I really want to start living my life again!
At this stage, I think I have to do something new as 5 months of struggle and trying to work it out is way too long and to possibly try NDT.
I already have a private prescription for it from a private doc recommended by TUK, and she said from her experience NDT is generally well tolerated.
I also ordered LDN.
However, I'm concerned about it making Hashimoto's worst as I read some people with Hashi react negatively to the animal tissue in the meds and their Hashi gets worst.
My anti-TG back in Nov was normal, but anti-TPO was raised at 160.
I've been gluten free for eons and take all the other supplements to keep iron, B12, D, etc in good ranges.
If you take NDT with Hashi, do you mind sharing if it has been working for you please?
