Just started T3 about 2 weeks ago (already feeling much better). My question is do I need to wait a specific time between these medications? Taking the DIM along with Estadiol/Testosterone/Progesterone/DHEA troches due to full hysterectomy in 2007.
Thank you!

My understanding is T3 is less fussy than T4. We get a faster reaction from it and that reaction doesn’t last so long as T4.
With all meds you want maximum absorption to benefit or …. consistency in delivery (how and when taken) and other conditions (food not food, empty stomach, not etc) that then gives you consistent absorption.
E.g I take my T4/T3 at 6.15am and other meds after 8.15 some after 10.15 etc.
Does that help?
I think as long as you find a consistent pattern that delivers what you need and doesn’t give any nasty reactions you will be fine.
I had half my thyroid removed in 1993 and was on levothyroid 125 untiI tried NDT in 2020. My complete hysterectomy was in 2007 and was on Estradiol until 2020. Did pellets but no difference in how I felt.In 2022, I changed to a non-traditional OB/GYN, who started me on the hormone Troches which are combo of estradiol, progesterone, testosterone and DHEA and switched to Armour thyroid.
Long story short, still had hypo symptoms for almost a year. Increased dose to 180, but my T3 and T4 were low still.
Went to her because I had been gaining weight even with 30 minutes cardio, edema, and feeling sluggish. Started the T3 med 5 weeks ago and I, for first time in over 20 years feel normal!! So thankful!! I go back for labs next week and will post results. Thank you!
I’ve just seen a reply from SeasideSusie to another thread where she says 4 hours ideally between thyroid hormones and HRT. As they affect absorption . That question was T4 related but I’ve tagged her for you will get an expert reply. 🌱
