Monitor My Health Thyroid Test

Has anyone had results from MMH that seem different to what you would expect

Test 13 March

TSH 1.12 (0.27 - 4.2)

T4 20.4 (12 - 22)

T3 3.3 (3.1 - 6.8)

My TSH has never been above 1.0 for years.

Usual range 0.005 - 0.06

Remember it's may be a different range to your normal range which would make the values different. I had a monitor my health one done nearly 4 weeks ago and my TSH was 0.56 however I got one done at the gp and it was 0.51 this one was done around a week ago and I wondered why it had gone down but then realised about the different ranges and also the fact I'd dropped my meds.

Yes but look at you ft3 scraping the bottom of the range. Is your ft3 normally that low?Low ft3 like that would make me very symptomatic.

FT3 is not normally that low. Last NHS test in December it was 4.9.

I do not feel symptomatic. No change in medication.

I am not convinced the MMH results are quite right. Wonder if they would redo the test.

With such very low Ft3 likely low vitamin D, folate, ferritin or B12 levels

What vitamin supplements do you currently take

When were these last tested

Was test done early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

pussycat willow,

'I do not feel symptomatic. No change in medication.'

As a matter of interest, what medication are you taking - brand and dose? Only asking because there have been a small number of members questioning the potency of Accord levothyroxine over the last two or three months.

'I am not convinced the MMH results are quite right. Wonder if they would redo the test.'
