Survived my god daughter’s 18th birthday party (and 4 hour’s drive from home) yesterday. Was wondering how the new me on tiny dose of T3 would cope.
I always feel awkward with the usual no thank yous to prosecco, non alcoholic prosecco, sugary drinks etc. the whole night on water was a lengthy prospect 🙈
My friend introduced me to Trip, it’s elderflower with mint and has 15 mg CBD per can, also contains ginseng and steviol so low sugar. 18 calories per 100ml.
It does taste a bit weird but I had a lovely party feeling relaxed and had enough of a zing to get me dancing.
I thought I’d share this as it’s tricky negotiating social events and having no ill effects the following day is so great.
Available in Sainsburys apparently,

I'll share with you that I went on a cruise last year, drank wine the first night and felt terrible, so was wondering how to deal with that for the rest of the cruise. Ended up on the non alcoholic wine with dinner which wasn't too awful actually. At least I felt like I had a drink with everyone and wasn't being a complete party pooper.
I'm glad your event went well. I'll look out for that drink in Sainsburys.
Jaydee1507 They are also available in asda and Holland and Barratt as well. The green one, I think its lemon and basil is almost reminiscent of a mojito and a bit cocktail like!
I just looked this drink up to see where I could buy it. Ever the avid label reader due to intolerances, I discovered it contains soy lecithin. I might get away with drinking this on rare occassions but probably best not to buy it for myself. 😐
Are you allergic to soy or just avoid? I’ve decided soy lecithin is on the ok list on account of it being only 100-500ppm with virtually no soy protein. I will have occasionally, I think ideal for parties, 🌱
Soy in even the most tiny amount can cause me to feel unwell and cause great physical discomfort. I'm really not sure why that is, if its the thyroid/Hashi link or the connective tissue disorder EDS. Many people with EDS are intolerant to gluten/dairy/soy. It only started though when Hashi's began. 🤷♀️
Just checked on Amazon and they have 3 flavours: Elderflower & Mint(£18/12 cans)Peach & Ginger (£19.50/12 cans)and Lemon & Basil (£17.85/12 cans) or 24 mixed cans for £33.78.
