I got some OTC T3 (Tiromel, thanks to a friend holidaying in Europe) and started on 1/4 tab, then 2 x 1/4, then 1/2 plus 1/4 and 1 now take 2 x 1/2 (on waking and at bedtime), with 100 mcg of Levothyroxine (Mercury Pharma) in the morning. The amount of T4 was reduced by my GP in January from 125 mcg to 100 mcg after I recorded a low TSH level. I wasn't too bothered at the time, as I had my T3.
Now I am starting to run out of T3, and have no friends with holiday plans in the right area. I'm finding it hard to remember how I felt before I started taking it. I am in a more stressful job now, and trying to lose weight (only been trying for 1 week!). I want to take up some exercise. I know I need to get re-tested and I won't know how things are going till I do, but I'm wondering if I invested too much hope in the T3 - I'm still tired and still overweight.
I will get another test kit and post some more recent test results when I have them. Thanks for being there! Oven if no-one responds I feel people at least listen.
Thank you!

Usually you would get onto half a 25mcg tablet then retest. Its still really important to have just the right amount, not too much, not too little. Its possible you may have over done it with the T3 but of course we need blood results to know, as you know already.
You don't say how long you were taking the added T3 but it can take many months for some symptoms to resolve on the right dose. Viamins also need to be OPTIMAL. Have you had them tested lately or did you start taking the B complex recommended in your last post?
Perhaps start a new post asking for direct messages for T3 supplier.
It took me 2 years of adjusting doses of levo and t3 to settle on doses and dosing schedule that suited me. 18months later I am still feeling improvements. adding T3 is not always straightforward or a quick fix. It takes trial and error and time to find what suits you.
