Just got back my latest blood test results to find that I am overmedicated. TSH 0.01 (0.27 - 4.2) T4 21.2 (12 - 22) T3 (6.1 - 3.1 -6.8).
I have been taking about 2 and a third grains of Thyroid S split into 2 doses.
I thought I would continue with 2 grains for a few weeks and then re-test, or should I go lower straightaway? Please advise! Thank you so much x
Did you split your dose the day before and take last part of dose 8-12 hours before test?
To avoid missing your sweet spot I would reduce gradually, I personally wouldn't go any lower than 2 grains at this stage. Wait 8 weeks then retest and see how you feel.

I actually missed my 2nd dose the day before the test. I don't know if that would have affected the result. As you suggested, I will stick with 2 grains for now.

If you didn't take your full daily dose the day before the test then your FT4/FT3 results might be showing a bit lower than if you had taken the full dose.

Yes, possibly overmedicated, but I'd still suggest you reduce gradually. Don't forget to take into account how you feel though, it's no good having excellent numbers but feeling rubbish

Thank you. I didn't take my second dose on the day before the test so it was about 24 hours
Oh well, at least I know I have to take action now. I won't make the same mistake again
i would start by cutting the 1/3 out. how are u feeling? what batch # thyroid s are you taking?
