Thank you for replying to my post.
I have been on 100 mg since I had a TT in March 2015.
I have mostly had the same brand (North Star) but I haven’t been able to get it recently and have been taking activis.
I was thinking to get a private blood test done so thank you for the links.
I haven’t been feeling very well. Lots of joint pain and finding it difficult to walk sometimes.

Activis ……I think you mean Accord (use to be called Activis)
Northstar is just a box - 100mcg and 50mcg are Accord brand inside.
Northstar 25mcg is Teva. But is no longer available from Feb 2023 anymore
Joint pain often low vitamin D and/or low Ft3

I have been taking vitamin D with K2.
As you’ve suggested I’ll get a more thorough blood test, hopefully that’ll give me a better picture of what’s going on.
Thank you once again for your support.

Hi Ivyclose1
NICE guidelines of dosing with levo at 1.6 ug per Kg body weight is a useful guide (and it is just a guide) and lever - you sound hypo but you need a proper test (private) as SlowDragon says. Doctors shouldn’t refuse private labs, they use ranges and are no worse than NHS - in fact they are better as they have more information- However doctors veer away from private tests as they have not been trained to read them and are often out of their depth.
Lived experience 😉👍

Thank you, I think I may be hypo too. I am definitely going to take the advice given by SlowDragon.
I will take a look at the NICE guidelines of dosing.
