Oh yes. I've done very well on it. It's been 6months and I'm nearly there.

Full of energy. Bloods due soon, but not too bothered as I feel so good.

Good luck with getting well

I have used it breifly. It is not a regulated pharmaceutical like most ndt products but does seem to help some people. The dose can vary but apparently so does our need. I think OK as long as you do not need a high dose.

Hi SleepySusie

How long did it take for you to see your symptoms dissipate and how much Metavive do you take please?

Thanks for your time.

in reply toCromaty

As above, but they began to get better after about a month or two.

I went up as high as 11 capsules of 30mg (330mg), but my temp has never risen above 35/6. My pulse was pretty high then. So now in process of reducing to see how low I can go before symptoms return.

Currently on 90mg and doing great. Good luck

Oh thanks so much for replying - that's really helpful information! Really happy (and hopeful) to hear that Metavive works well for you. I'm hoping to start Metavive soon as I've been on Adrenavive for just over a month and have already seen improvements. Good luck to you too and thanks again!

Hello Cromarty, do you have to be on Adrenavive before starting Metavive, I’ve just ordered it.

That's great to hear! I am on month 4 and still increasing my does. I'm not quite there yet. Although I do have chronic fatigue and an under active thryoid. So only time will tell! I live in hope!!

IT's giving me hope that I will feel better soon. It's been 4 months. My body temp has increased but still at 36 degrees therefore been advised to keep increasing my dose every 2 weeks. Currently on 90mg each day. Soon to increase to 110mg. I am also on 750mg of adrenavive too. I have not only got an under active thyroid, but chronic fatigue and a nasty virus I caught in January this year. Hopefully everything will settle soon and I will have good energy levels again. xx

I had a big setback with my

Dr. P recommended that I started on adenavive and then progressed to metavive. Feeling a lot better generally but do have dips - possibly my life circumstances at moment. Hope it works for you.

I too started on metavive 3 weeks ago as recommended by a private Dr. He said although I’ve been taking Levothyroxine for 8 years that I don’t convert T4 to T3 very well. Have an under active thyroid and ME/ CFS. I used to take 100 Levo and need to reduce those as I inc metavive. Am currently only on 2 metavive a day and feeling no different yet. Not sure how many I would likely need.

Hi just wondering did you increase you Metavive intake and did it make any positive difference? I'm currently on 2 Adrenavive 11 and 2 Metavive 1 a day and little improvement. Thanks 😀

Hi. Yes I did increase my metavive every 2 weeks and gradually reduced my levothyroxine. To begin with I didn’t notice any difference but over a few months I reached 6 Metavive/ day and no Levothyroxine and gradually realised that in hindsight I had been feeling better, I did have more energy and was able to do much more than usual. The whole thing took 3-4 months. I then got my bloods tested again to check my thyroid levels now I was feeling better and my T3 was in the upper range, T4 mid range and TSH below range but to be expected. I must say that I did other things as well. I cut gluten out of my diet and reduced dairy as I have Hashimotos. This improved my digestion and reduced my headaches. I also take a lot of supplements that were recommended to me and my iron levels which were once very low are now getting to a more acceptable level. I suspect that the combination of these things is helping me but metavive has been a crucial part of the recovery. The final thing I did was get my GP onside (which wasn’t easy) and an endocrinologist who agreed that my T3 was low and approves of the results that I’m getting with metavive. He is relaxed with the high T3 and low TSH levels which my GP wasn’t comfortable with but is satisfied with now as the endocrinologist has approved them. I hope that helps. Let me know if you would like to know anything else or I haven’t explained it very well. I wish you luck.
