Hello jimh111. I haven't used them myself, but others in the forum have...Roseway Labs I believe.

That needs a prescription 1tuppence.

Thank you tatty...did I misunderstand? I thought they had a Dr who would talk to the person enquiring and if they agreed the need, would then prescribe...either T3 or NDT which Roseway would fulfil?

i see what you mean now x

I've used Roseway to get Thybon Henning on prescription but I've having trouble getting prescriptions from my GP (until I sort out Imperial Healthcare Trust - ICB and their rogue endocrinologist).

See my reply to tattybogle? If I'm wrong, then apologies jim.

You are sort of right. They require previous prescriptions which I have but also blood test results and mine are always outside the reference intervals. So, I'm not sure they will prescribe. Given I get my T3 from them when I have prescriptions I don't want to risk worrying them at the moment.

Pretty sure someone will PM you jim. Hope you get what you need. Sorry it seems so difficult for us to get what we need.

hi, Roseway don’t require anything from your GP and they didn’t ask me for previous prescriptions. I paid £30 for a call with their prescriber, sent MMH recent blood tests and filled out their pre appointment form, we had a 15 minute call and she sent me a prescription via email with a payment link and the payment was for 3 months T3. Arrived in the post in a couple of days. I’ve seen others get Thybon from them. I have their own compounded. 🌱

Thanks, that’s a great option as they have Thybon.

You could try the private prescriber attached to independent Chemist chain in Scotland to avoid your usual supplier. Seems to be same set up as Roseway as to method. Seemingly, a few members use them for LDN. If you are interested in this route and don't know who I mean, look up chemists in Scotland with hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Hope you get sorted soon. Very worrying situation.

Thanks that's another option. I need supra-physiological doses of liothyronine (50 mcg) daily so it might be a problem. I plan to get a little stock to tide me over for a few months whilst my complaint to Imperial ICB is investigated. Although I have been getting a private prescription from my GP I'm now a bit annoyed and will push for an NHS prescription to formally assert my right to liothyronine on the NHS. Don't make me angry!

Hey Jim, do you take any T4 or do better with T3 only?

jimh111 profile image
jimh111 in reply toVileplume

I take 50 mcg levothyroxine, it doesn’t make much difference but it seems sensible to have some. I’m sure thyroid hormones have actions we’re not aware of yet.

Thanks. I've found T3 to be much more helpful than T4 in resolving my chronic digestive and mental problems, but I'm still working out the right ratio.

Will do in a day or so. I’m getting a number of replies so will try and consolidate them whilst not disclosing who sent me the replies. Chase me up in two days if I forget.

Luna1111 Your response may attract PM's from the scammers who try and lure people to purchase from them. Should anyone PM you suggesting a source to buy T3 then please do contact either myself or any of the admin team to find out if we have any feedback on that source. Do not part with any of your money until you are very certain your source is absolutely genuine.

When you receive a message with a recommendation, please do not assume it is genuine.

Scammers are joining the forum on a very regular basis and messaging members with their assertions that they have successfully purchased xyz medication from zyx source.

First, check the profile of the member that sent you the message. Are they a long term member with an active forum posting history? Or are they a recently joined member with little or no posting history?

Once you have what you think may be a genuine recommendation, please message a forum admin to ask whether the admin team have any feedback on the source you've been given.

Admins are not allowed to recommend sources, but we can tell you what, if any, feedback we've received about the source you've been given.

⚠️ Don't part with your much needed money until you are as sure as you can be that the source is genuine.

Scammers often join the forum and post a 'fake' story about their thyroid journey, that includes mention of self sourcing their thyroid meds. This is to encourage members to ask them where they purchase their medication without prescription.

I will now lock this post as it is 5 months old and to prevent further source requests.
