Having somehow lost 4 days supply of lio whilst travelling around SE Asia I tried the pharmacies here in Thailand. Eventually I was directed to the major hospital only to have it confirmed that lio isn’t available in Thailand.
So beware intrepid travellers.

You should be able to use dessicated pork thyroid (which contains T4 and T3 in very stable form). It is available there. I would imagine that the doctors or pharmacists there could work out the conversion.
We've had several people mention liothyronine and Thailand. I'd never seen any evidence that it is available. (Not being able to read Thai limits my ability to check!)
Thank you for thinking to post and making it clear.
From helvella's wonderful compendium, desiccated thyroid is available in Thailand. Thailand called 'Sriprasit – Thyroid S'. It's on page 110 of my version. I know it's not liothyronine (T3) but it looks like the closest you can get in Thailand.
There is confusion about its legal status within Thailand.
Some have claimed it is prescription-only and not readily available at pharmacies. (That is, it might be possible to get it but needs a prescription and the appropriate pharmacy.) However, I'd take the word of someone in Thailand over anything I say!
