Am I correct in thinking that T3 is available OTC in Thailand? If so, does anyone know the common brand name? I usually get mine online from Mexico (Cytomel) but as I’ve friends visiting Thailand I thought I’d double check

Is T3 available OTC in Thailand?
Jacs, I have a feeling that T3 is not actually available in Thailand, but if anyone here knows differently, hopefully they will tell us.
Remember, the law which allows you as an individual to obtain prescription-only medicines from overseas applies to you and members of your household.
Bringing in medicines for another person, not a member of your household, might not be covered.
Customs might ask and, of course, lying to customs is a bad idea.
(This is simply to protect you and your friend from a possibly awkward situation.)
Of course, they would be able to bring medicines in for themselves.
No you can definitely not buy T3 over the counter or get it on prescription in Thailand as I discovered to my detriment after not bringing enough medication with me by accident. I bought a ‘cytomel’ knock off which was supposed to be legitimate and made in Germany but had zero affect on me. Had to eek out what I brought with me. Moral of the story is check and re-check what you are bringing with you. Ugh .
