Over the last few months i've had the odd couple of days where I struggle to swallow. When I used to get this it was when my glands were up and I was fighting off a cold, but recently it feels like it is in my throat, rather than around it. It does happen when I appear to be rundown/going through a flare up - I have Hashimoto's.
I can't feel anything when I touch my throat/thyroid area. Does this sound like I could have a nodule and would it be worth having an ultrasound?
Thanks!

Calligraphy you could ask the GP for a referral to ENT as they deal with the physical side of throat/thyroid. Endos tend to stick to thyroid bloods.
The waiting list might be long. If you decide to go to a private ENT consultant (around £200) chose one that works privately and NHS in your area - that way if you need non urgent treatment or follow-up the may put you on their NHS list saving you further costs but setting your mind at rest in the meantime.
