Thanks for your replies to my previous question - I’ve added more information as requested. I took the blood test early in the morning 24 hours after my 125 mcg dose of Levothyroxine. I take a Centrum multivitamin for over 50s women a couple of days a week plus a high dose Vitamin D on a different couple of days. Looks like I need to take the vit D daily to up my levels a bit perhaps? My main concern is the fairly high TSH. Should I ask my GP if my Levo can be increased? Would the following results indicate that this is needed? I’m also on a daily statin and blood pressure medication. My test results (Thriva) are:-
TSH - 3.97 (0.270 -4.2) mIU/L
Free T3 - 4.1 (3.1-6.8) pmol/L
Free Thyroxine FT4 - 15.8 (12-22)pmol/L
Total Thyroxine T4 - 107 (59-154)nmol/L
Thyroglobulin Antibodies -136 (0-115)kIU/L
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies - 157.6 (0-34) kl/L
Ferritin - 104 (13-150) ug/L
Active B12 - 89 (37.5-188) pmol/L
25 OH Vitamin D - 65 (75-175) nmol/L - new reference range 23 Oct 22
I’m grateful for any suggestions. I keep to the same brands of Levo - Almus for 100 and Mercury Pharma for the 25. I feel generally ok although a bit sluggish.

If you have an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), treatment may be delayed until this problem is treated. This is because having an underactive thyroid can lead to an increased cholesterol level, and treating hypothyroidism may cause your cholesterol level to decrease, without the need for statins. Statins are also more likely to cause muscle damage in people with an underactive thyroid.
