Feeling bit meh. Updated results. Any ideas?

HiI've been doing ok for a while. I had medichecks blood test in September 22.

Results -

TSH - 0.55 mu/L (0.27 - 4.2) - Sept 22

T3 - 5.1 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) - Sept 22

T4 - 19.5 pmol/ (12-22) - Sept 22

I haven't been feeling too great. Tired, dry skin. Usual meh symptoms so I just did a test with monitor my health.

I've been on 125mcg for a while. Was definitely on it at the last blood test plus this one. Although I have lost a little weight, possibly 7lb. But that was with trying lol.

Monitor my health results -

TSH - 0.26 mu/L (0.27 - 4.2) - Jan 23

T3 - 4.6 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) - Jan 23

T4 - 21.5 pmol/L (12-22) - Jan 23

Do you think I'm possibly pushing being slightly overmedicated? Would that explain why I feel so meh lately or do these results look ok?

All my vitamin levels etc were reasonable in Sept, have been working on them and will retest March time but still taking D spray and a B complex. Any ideas or am I just generally feeling rough cos its winter hahaha.

Thanks

you have lost weight and Ft4 has gone up

But Ft3 has gone down

Too much Ft4 could be the reason

So yes …..perhaps try reducing levothyroxine by 12.5mcg 2 days a week

So 125mcg 5 days and 112.5mcg 2 days week

Did you add any extra folate as you were all but deficient last test even with the B complex?

Free T3 (fT3) 5.1 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 54.1%

If anything you're a touch under replaced at the moment but getting the folate up more might fix it. Definitely not over replaced currently,.

I agree with SlowDragon that a small reduction in levo might improve things. Our body has a built in safeguard mechanism to stop ft3 getting too high. When ft4 reaches a certain level (different for each individual) the body starts to convert more ft4 into reverse t3 - this is to curb potential ft3 levels. In simpler terms conversion is compromised by ft4 being too high for you.

This may be why your results are as they are and the power ft3 may be the cause of your meh.

Makes total sense now someone spelt it out to me. Looking back I was actually 12st 8lb when I started on 125mcg and I'm now 11st 2lb so lost more than I thought. Still a stone heavier than before thyroid problems but yes reduction definitely needed now I think. Thank you
