I said in an earlier post this week all my adverse side effects from taking the Nortriptyline have ceased thankfully, however the nice but dim Registrar I saw last week has insisted on putting a ton of, in my humble opinion, unnecessary blood tests on the system including thyroid. I'm not sure whether to just ignore them and hope no one at the surgery notices and chases them up.
Or whether to contact the surgery and let them know my symptoms have abated and ask for the blood test requests to be removed. I don't want them, especially as this doctor stated he doses by TSH. Advice appreciated please.

I would ignore and not have the tests, and if anyone follows up play the ‘I didn’t want to cost the nhs money as my symptoms have resolved’ card. I suspect that unless you have a follow up appointment booked this will probably stay under the radar.
A couple of years ago I decided not to have the blood test when I saw TFTs had been included with a load of other tests. I knew that had the doctor spotted my suppressed TSH that it would have spelled the end for further investigations on why I was experiencing horrible neuralgia.
Luckily, he’d prescribed naproxen before sending me away with the blood test form in my hand and it worked (much to both his and my surprise). Came off the naproxen after a few weeks and thank goodness that horrible pain never returned. If he’d seen the TSH I’m practically certain he’d have concluded I was over medicated instead.
