Most important question……how do you feel

Was test done early morning, ideally just before 9am and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Ft3 is not over range

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

Essential to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least once a year

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

What were most recent vitamin results

Are you on strictly gluten free diet or dairy free diet

Vitamin D

Serum total 25-hydroxy vitamin D level 73 nmol/L [50.0 - 120.0]

Comment Adequate levels of Vitamin D ( 25 OH Vitamin D 50 to

120 nmol/L ) Not always the same brand. Feel okay feel grumpy at times but I put that down to the teripartide injection I have for bones had test done 2pm

Suggest you get folate, ferritin and B12 levels tested

Are you taking magnesium or vitamin K2?

FT4: 23.5 (9-19.1) = 143.56% of range

FT3: 5.1 (2.4-6.0) = 75% of range

When did you take your last dose of Levo before this test? Last dose should be 24 hours before to avoid a false high (if Levo taken before test) or false low result (if Levo taken longer than 24 hours before).

Do you take biotin or B Complex or any supplement containing Biotin (B7), if so did you leave it off for 3-7 days before test?

Providing that you left 24 hours between Levo and test, and no biotin then it would seem that you need a very high over range FT4 to produce a reasonable FT3 level.

4 years ago you posted results and the response was that your conversion was poor and to consider adding T3 to a lower dose of Levo:

I think it would be a good idea to seriously consider that suggestion :)

No I don’t take-biotin. Took my meds at 7

So you didn't leave 24 hours between last dose of Levo and blood test, in that case you have a false high FT4 level and your conversion is not as bad as those results suggest.
