I have a relative who is screamingly hypo but I don't think she is being treated. I do not speak to her much these days. she has really swollen ankles and her memory isn't great all her kids have had thyroid related issues and I'm sure her husband has graves disease as he has a really uncontrollable temper. I just heard that she watched a old video and saw something that wasn't there and got really upset. She and her family see a dr and endocrinologist on Harley St who I think are awful. We took my parents to see him and he said there blood tests were 'normal' anyway I think if she doesn't get treated she will end up like my parents both who were diagnosed with dementia. ( in other words never treated properly for thyroid). Sadly my brother who doesn't look well either who is a Dr and doesn't seem to have a clue about thyroid disease as most of his kids are on ritalin isn't much of a help although he is a nice guy and seems to be controlled by her. She won't listen to me but she listens to my aunty. In fact I have kind of given up sounding like a broken record. She is more financially stable than I am so could afford to see someone decent. Any suggestions would be great , thanks.
