Wait to get blood test after B12 injection

I arranged for my mother’s thyroid blood tests prior to her next B12 jab.

Annoyingly TSH did not report despite being on the request form. Results for FT3 and FT4 were received.

She’s had the B12 jab whilst we awaited results.

We now need to retest all three thyroid hormones.

How long should she wait before getting bloods tested following the B12 jab? Don’t want skewed results because of high B12 in the body.

B12 wont affect thyroid results. It's the biotin (B7) in a B Complex or hair/nail supplement or a stand alone biotin supplement that can affect any blood test result.
