I posted previously about my suspected TED - symptoms still present but seeing an ophthalmologist soon. I asked for copies of my blood results and got the following -
TSH - 1.1 (range 0.23-5.6)
Free T4 - 16 (range (9-28)
TRAB negative - <1.2 (range 0-2.1)
So, I still have all the hallmarks of TED but the GP assures me that there is no problem with my bloods at all. At a bit of a loss now and wondered what people think, given the results above? Thanks

I realise that many with thyroid eye disease - or who think it possible - find wading through heavy papers is tough going. Can be pretty difficult as many seem full of photos or worst-case patients.
Having said that, if you want to know more, you could do worse than read this review paper from 2009:
Thank you, I did read the article and found it very useful. Still don’t know how I could have TED with normal bloods but will see what the ophthalmologist says
Well these results are pretty limited and all they say is that your TSH and T4 are in range, but without the associated T3 result and range there is nothing much one can say.
The TR ab reading is showing as " in range " but this again isn't conclusive of there not being a thyroid health issue.
TED can also found in people who are dealing with Hashimoto's auto immune thyroid disease and this would have needed TPO and or Tg AB antibodies run :
TED is an auto immune disease in it's own right, and can run independently of a thyroid health issue.
