So after a huge battle with the GP and them having to discuss it with an endo they finally agreed to up my dose to 125mcg a day.

Results on 100mcg - Weight 81kg

TSH - 1.44 mu/L (0.27 - 4.2)

T3 - 4.8 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8)

T4 - 16.4 pmol/L (12 - 22)

Results on 125mcg - Weight 74kg

TSH - 0.08 mu/L (0.27 - 4.2)

T3 - 5.4 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8)

T4 - 21.4 pmol/L (12-22)

This is after 8 weeks on 125mcg. GP is not reviewing me til Sept so just keeping an eye myself as I know GP will look purely at TSH and drop my dose. Probs back to 100mcg. Should I decrease slightly to 112.5mcg a day?

I have lost 7kg but that was weight I had gained whilst undiagnosed and probably have another 5kg to go.

Have about 6-8 weeks til GP blood test so shall I decrease slightly to keep the GP happy and hopefully that raises my TSH enough for them not to cut me down to 100mcg lol.

Any advice welcome. Oh and I feel fine. Better than I have in years lol.

In that case why change anything? Your FT4 and FT3 are within range, albeit the FT4 is at the top of the range. Remember what Dr Toft said in his article in Pulse magazine (the professional magazine for doctors):

"The appropriate dose of levothyroxine is that which restores euthyroidism and serum TSH to the lower part of the reference range - 0.2-0.5mU/l. In this case, free thyroxine is likely to be in the upper part of its reference range or even slightly elevated – 18-22pmol/l. Most patients will feel well in that circumstance. But some need a higher dose of levothyroxine to suppress serum TSH and then the serum-free T4 concentration will be elevated at around 24-28pmol/l. This 'exogenous subclinical hyperthyroidism' is not dangerous as long as serum T3 is unequivocally normal – that is, serum total around T3 1.7nmol/l (reference range 1.0-2.2nmol/l).*"

When did you take your last dose of Levo before test? Last dose should be 24 hours before the test as this avoids a false high or false low FT4 result.

See how you feel over the next few weeks, if you feel overmedicated or your next results come back with a high FT4 then you could maybe reduce Levo slightly - 12.5mcg, no more, fine tweaking is what is needed at this stage.

Yes 24 hours before for levo. Followed all previous advice on here. It's frustrating as I know all what you're saying but my prescription for 125mcg is also temporary based on a TSH test in Sept (That's what it says on my repeat prescription)

So I know with a TSH of under 0.1 the GP is gonna have a heart attack lol and will be like "I told you so"

So maybe I'll drop to 112.5mcg so I can hopefully raise it enough to keep the GP off my back then I can keep my prescription for 125mcg and have some extra to place with lol

I find it absolutely unacceptable that sometimes one has to forego feeling healthy in order for some "number value" to be acceptable to a doctor. Sigh. Best of luck, and I understand your thinking. 😉

Totally agree with you! They should be ashamed of themselves for not having their patients well-being as their number one priority. What the hell do they think they're there for? Their own pleasure?
