I just wanted to say thank you to all who have helped with their advice regarding my thyroid issues. I'm still struggling with my thyroid health, but it helps to know I am not alone or a lunatic.

I wish Drs. especially endocrinologists were more honest when they simply don't know what to do or how to treat our thyroid disorders. I wish they would stop relying on the TSH and look at all our blood markers as well as our symptoms. I wish they would stop saying that what we have learned that works for us, hasn't been proven. Honestly, they sound like they belong in the dark ages where they once thought the earth was flat!

Hi

Come on, give them a break, could be worse, they could be still trying to balance your humours and tasting your wee to diagnose you 😆. ( I'm not making that up btw).

And if any doctor said to me "what we have learned works for us " I would literally blow my top. Its not about what works for them, it's what works for the patient.

Tasting wee was to diagnose diabetes, wasn't it? I'm just glad they no-longer use leeches to let blood!
