As promised I am reporting back on my experience so far and blood tests. I am 6 weeks in to starting liothyronine alongside levo. I was soooo nervous to start, I had the tablets for weeks before I was brave enough to give it a go.
I am feeling pretty good energywise and digestive health despite having a stressful life time at the moment and I am pleased with my results, (although i think there is aroom for improvement in vitamin levels?) I have also noticed my general anxiety levels are better. I see the NHS consultant today and I am hoping he will be similarly pleased and not put off by the low TSH.
I was previously on 125mg of levo and actually feeling alright but my TSH was very low and my T4 was top pf the range
t4 20.6 86%
t3 4.73 44%
TSH 0.03 (0.27 - 4.2)
Now 100mg levo 2x 5mg lio
t4 15 30%
t3 5.16 55.7%
TSH 0.11 (0.27 - 4.2)
TSH is still llow but much better than it was.
B12 99 (37.4-150)
D 93 (50-200) - thoughts on this? I can't remember what is optimum
Ferritin 38.3 (13-150) which is improving because it was 13 last time I tested.
Folate didnt work but I supplement a b complex.
Thanks, and wish me luck for today, I am feeling pretty nervous about it.

Just saw your name and remember replying to you ages ago :
Glad to see you have been given a trial of T3 and you are feeling a little better.
I don't take T3/T4 combo, I am taking NDT, so can't really say much about your results.
Except to say the TSH is the least important blood test and as with Graves and after RAI a totally unreliable source of anything relevant to your health :
For reference I now need to maintain my ferritin at around 100 : folate 20 : active B12 75 ++ and vitamin D at around 100 :
I would think as your ferritin reaches optimum you'll likely see a higher T4 reading and a more balancedT3/T4 ratio and you may need to consider tweaking the T3/T4 combo.
Don't be nervous, good Luck and keep us in the loop :
This is a pretty good result. Below 70 suggests testing for B12 deficiency and we tend to say 100+ is the aim.

Not bad.
The Vit D Society and Grassroots Health recommend a level of 100-150nmol/L, with a recent blog post on Grassroots Health mentioning a study which recommends over 125nmol/L.
As we are approaching summer you may well be able to boost this level naturally from the sun. I'd test again end of October/beginning November to see whether you need to supplement through the winter (advised for most of us so put that result on the forum if you want a suggestion for a winter dose).
Ferritin 38.3 (13-150) which is improving because it was 13 last time I tested.
Still a way to go, half way through range is recommended (82 with that range) and some experts say the optimal level for thyroid function is 90-110ug/L.
Folate didnt work but I supplement a b complex.
Hopefully you stopped this for 3-7 days before you tested as the biotin it contains can give false results for any blood test.
