Hi all- Been feeling very HYPO for weeks. Increased my tirosint from 88mcg to 100mcg to hopefully bring up the t3. These are my results, and I'm shocked. The TSH was at .55 last check, now it's out of range but my free t3 is the same, as well as the t4.. Does this look like I'm close to hyper to any of you ? I know my doc won't like that TSH .. Thanks all.. Test Name Results Reference Range Units

Hi, thanks for looking into this. I did take my tirosint 5 hrs or so before labs. I'm told it only matters with liothyronine, maybe not. I take D3 and B12, all normal, extensive labs. I take a good multi, and drink green protein drinks. Have tried gluten free, didn't seem to make a difference but carbs do ! I do not have autoimmune thyroid. Lost half my thyroid due to a growth taking over one side. Never been a good converter , tried liothyronine years ago I had tachycardia, so I'm nervous about trying it again. Just can't understand why my tsh keeps dropping with very small t4 dose increases, and t3 keeps going down..tsh is worthless isn't it
well this is all I have for vitamin levels recently. CBC was done, all normal. Tpo, normal.. ANA antibodies were posative at 1.80 which is slightly elevated, told it was nothing..I did have covid in January which can cause that. I do take selenium, zinc, along with my B12 B50, D3 Ester C.

What is B50? Or do you mean B5? Really not a good idea to take just a couple of B vits because they all work together and need to be kept balanced. Better to take a good B complex, such as Thorne Basic B. However, if you are taking vit C at the same time as B12, you are nullifying the effects of the B12. They should be taken at least two hours apart.
I take a good multi
There's no such thing as a 'good multi'. Even if they contain the right form of the different vitmains and minerals, they never contain enough to deal with a deficiency. And, if they contain iron, you won't absorb much of anything, anyway... I could go on, into greater detail, if you like, but the upshot is that these things are not meant to all be taken together in one pill. It just doesn't work like that.
Thanks for the advice. The B "50" is actually B complex, solgar brand. I will take B12 and C apart, didn't know that. As far as the multi, guess I don't need it. I've heard this before. The whole supplement thing gets confusing
When u increase the thyroxine ur t3 will definitely drop , because ur iron/ferritin is too low .Solution is to increase ur iron first through tabs or injectable n then increase thyroxine , miracles will happen then
Thanks for that. Defiantly low t3 here, not hyper. Just wonder what is causing the tsh to keep going up so high , but the t3 and t4 didn't really change. So from what I could look up, this is a type of sub hyperthyroid that should be treated over 60 yrs old (I'm 66) as it can cause cardiac issues. But that doesn't make sense..Blah
