SeasideSusie recommended vitamin D supplements in this previous post

What were your most recent B12, folate and ferritin results

I wouldn't buy that one. The folate is in the form of folic acid - methylfolate is better - and it doesn't say which form of B12 they use. Thornes Basic B is better. :)

I always think a big clue is price - cheap = nasty (usually). They're cheap because they use the cheapest and least absorbable form of active ingredients.

The one you show above contains B12 as cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin (the converted version) is recommended, and folic acid whereas methylfolate is recommended, again the converted version.

Amazon sell it at £6.49 for 60 tablets and I can't see anywhere that it shows the amount of each ingredient.

Thorne Basic B, highly recommended here, has the active form of ingredients, gives a complete breakdown of the amount of each ingredient. They are a well respected company who are very open about their ingredients - see

thorne.com/ingredients

Yes, they're more expensive, currently on Amazon at £19.07 for 60 tablets so it's a case of you pay your money and take your choice.

As mentioned before, Doctors Best softgels for Vit D and VegaVero or Vitabay for K2-MK7 (an important cofactor when taking Vit D).

Try Zinc. My wife went on it and her T3 & T4 shot up which surprised us and she had to cut back on her levo. Now on T3 Trial at last but ends suspects cortisol (he wants it checked out).

Not a good idea without testing.

Zinc and copper should be balanced. We hypos tend to have one high and the other low. So before supplementing we need to know if it's the right thing to do. If we already have good or high zinc then supplementing zinc is not the best idea because it would make it even more out of balance with copper.

Try Ergocalciferol with vitamin d. I’ve been using it for a while and I can recommend it to you. I always buy it at the Canada Drugs store canadadrugsdirect.com/. They have cheap prices and amazing service.

Ergocalciferol is D2 and not generally ever recommended to take

Recommended to always supplement D3
