I have just had my results from Blue Horizons 30th April 2022
All my previous results have also been posted on here in past posts, the last were taken September 2020.
I am taking 2 grains daily of NP Thyroid. Recently I seem to have a little less energy, I am unsure if there is a connection to the thyroid/ medication but worth mentioning. I would very much appreciate any thoughts and comments, thank you.

Good timing, and I should have said I’m assuming that FT3 is 6.10 & the 610 is a typo.
If meds have previously worked well for you it is working out what has changed. We all have our sweet spot that if exceeded can eventually make meds start working against us and the downside of NDT is the fixed ratio of T4/T3.
Last year I suddenly found NDT had become too T3 potent and so added some Levo back into the mix. In spite of previous years being unable to achieve well-being on Levo-mono therapy, this combo has worked well for me as narrowed the gap between a very low T4 & high T3 level. (cheaper too considering the exorbitant price of NDT atm!).
Also with elevated thyroid antibodies you risk inflammation which can be another inhibitory factor in meds working well. Are you gluten free? Are you supplementing selenium?
Other considerations would be having Vit B12 tested, folate, Vit D, and iron as all these are important, particularly the iron in ensuring thyroid meds work effectively for us, and adequate Vit D which is a huge immune modulator.
I can see that the fixed T3/T4 can be a problem, I'm not sure how to move forward if I add levo which will mean trying to work with my GP again but maybe I should at least try, true the NDT is very expensive!
I am gluten free, I made that change about 6 or 7 years ago, I did have selenium supplements but not now, in fact I had forgotten about selenium, I don't think the odd brazil nut will be enough! yes I do need to sort that out.
I'm afraid I took the slightly cheaper test this time so I didn't get my vitamin results, I do take B vitamins daily and Vitamin D every 3-4 days.
I wonder if there is iron in the B vits or if I would need to add iron, although I do eat fish and meat I believe these are a good source.
The doctors comments from Blue Horizons also suggests Hashi.
Firstly I need to order Selenium which you have reminded me about, I don't know if I should try reducing my NDT or to see my GP and add levo as you have done.
Your comments have helped, thank you, I appreciate it. Honestly I could kick myself sometimes when I am so forgetful it is so annoying.
Haha, we’re all are guilty of complacency from some to time.
I initially bought my Levo from an online source as didn’t want to involve my GP. Then as luck would have it a locum enquired after my thyroid status & I quick thinking said I had been medicating my sister’s Levothyroxine all over lock-down as was unable to access my private endo. He wrote a back-dated & repeat prescription there & then!
My previous GP was flexible with my lowish TSH levels but now I’m not sure what tolerance will be shown when called in for next annual TFT's at my new merged surgery. Levo isn’t expensive to buy. Just ask in new post for members to DM you.
Ahhh I thought you could only get it on prescription, that's good to know!
I haven't been to my surgery for 2 or 3 years thankfully although my mum had to go a few times and doctors have changed (not many there now) and it's become more over the phone appointments as everywhere is : (
