Query re Teva and changing to Accord levothyroxine

I’ve been advised by this wonderful forum to change from Teva to Accord levothyroxine, because of side effects. The surgery only supply Northstar Teva or Northstar Accord - are they one and the same ? Do I need a different brand of Accord? Sorry, I find all this a bit confusing, any advice would be greatly appreciated x

Accord don’t make 25mcg tablets

As you are taking 50mcg and 75mcg alternate days….you will need larger number of 50mcg tablets prescribed per month and cut 50mcg Accord in half to get 75mcg

Accord is available in 50mcg and 100mcg tablets…..boxed as as its self Accord

But also boxed via Lloyds as Northstar or via Boots as Almus

BEWARE Northstar 25mcg is Teva

Thank you so much , I have spoken with my surgery and should get the Accord 50 in the next couple of days, fingers crossed it works x
