On levothyroxine, thyroid levels ok, yet I have days with a constant headache (never suffered from headaches before hemithyroidectomy), or I feel full, my ankles are really stiff (not previously) - am I just stuck with this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I know it’s only minor but it wears me down ☹️

Headaches are common hypothyroid symptom
Teva brand upsets many people
Suggest you try only taking Accord brand. Will need to cut 50mcg tablets in half to get 25mcg
Getting rid of Teva
Retest TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 via Monitor My Health after 6-8 weeks on Accord only
Then probably can tolerate next dose increase in levothyroxine to 100mcg
How much do you weigh in kilo approx?
Likely to need addition of T3 prescribed alongside levothyroxine if conversion remains poor
Are you on strictly gluten free or dairy free diet?
Thank you very much for the response, my dr said my last bloods were fine, I posted them on here, I am largely gluten free, I weigh 73kg, I found when my dose was upped to 75 every day I felt dreadful, really jittery etc, so I’m 50/75 alternate. The surgery have just rung and I’m having some extra bloods on Thursday but I’m not quite sure what for. I’m sure they’ll never prescribe T3, I am trying to see an endocrinologist I think that’s dependent on what my bloods say!

Presumably you did test as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
Ft4 is only 45% through range
Ft3 is only 6% through range
