Help with thyroid test results please

Hi, would someone be able to give me help on these results. The last ones showed Ft3 way to high and FT4 next to nothing. I have reduced my liothyronine from 30 to 20 and Im on 50 levothyroxine. So the symptoms of over medication are better and my heart has settled but I'm still feeling hypo. I haven't tried to increase the levo yet as I wanted to do one thing at a time. Thank you

I think your next step is to increase your Levo, fine tweaking is often necessary on combo meds, just take it slowly and change one thing at a time, retesting 6-8 weeks after each dose change will help guide you, along with how you feel of course.

Did you decrease your T3 by 10 mcg in one go? If so, that was too much. You should never increase or decrease by more than 5 mcg at a time.

And, probably, a reduction of 5 mcg would have been enough, because your FT3 is now on the low-side, and that's why you feel hypo.

Whether or not increasing your levo will also increase your FT3 a bit, remains to be seen. Depends how well you convert. You might not need high levels of T4, anyway. Not everybody does. I'm happiest with an FT4 of zero. It's a very individual thing. :)

Thank you, no I didn't reduce the T3 all in one go. I ensured that I did it gradually. I felt hypo even when my Ft3 was high

Oh good! :) So, how high was your FT3 before you started to reduce the dose?

Here were my last results. So initially I was on T3 only and through all the stages of increase didn't feel better in the least and eventually showed I was overmedicated. I have had a little relief since combining with levo but the FT4 as you can see was very low on the last test, the latest one shows it has gone up to 9 now but still low
