Hi has anyone had decompression eye surgery due to having Graves eye disease

My eyes, after RAI thyroid ablation were not considered serious enough for surgery :

My psychological struggle dealing with this unexpected issue was dismissed with a shrug of the shoulders.

Anyhow I just wanted to wish you well, and hope you have found your way through with your Graves and if you did have a thyroidectomy as mentioned some months ago all has gone well for you.

Thank you so much for your reply I ended up with the block and replace I also had radiotherapy which did help the operation is my next phase hopefully my protruding eyes one bigger than the other will look better than what they do now I have been on a lot of steroids n a 3 stone increase in my weight am on sleepers and antidepressants as well as levothyroxine n the carbimazole blood pressure tablets n they just put me on propananol I must tell I rattle ha thanks for your good wishes

Sorry, I'm a bit confused :

What was the radiotherapy treatment, how did it help ?

Was it ablative therapy with iodine 1-31 ?

Are you still on all these medications ?

Do you have any thyroid hormone blood test results and ranges you re happy to share with forum members ?
