Vitality Health Insurance - good Endo recommendation please

Please can anyone recommend an Endo, covered by Vitality health insurance, that has helped you with T3, NDT, thinking outside the box, etc etc?

Ideally based in the southeast (I am in London) but I would be happy to travel to the right doctor.

I have the Thyroid UK list of amenable doctors, but they don't seem to match with anyone on the Vitality website. Thank you in advance if you can help.

I'm not sure how anyone can know any endos covered by Vitality Health unless they are a member of that too.

If you have a list of approved endos then it would be better to ask if anyone has seen Dr xxxx or Dr yyyy and if so will they send you a private message with any information. Replies must be in a private message as we can't discuss individual doctors on the forum.

If anyone can private message me, I’d be super grateful. Vitality have a frustrating web search on their site with loads of their approved doctors but it doesn’t have a name search function and there is no way to see if they have a thyroid speciality... If you call their help number, there is a minimum 45 minute wait on hold so I was hoping a kind soul could help speed that process up!!

If anyone has any knowledge of any endos covered by Vitality Health then I'm sure they will send you a private message. Personally I've never heard of them and I don't know how many members know of them so I'm not sure how we can help without a name. As many of us may have no knowledge of Vitality Health or who is approved by them then possibly the only way you will get replies is if you actually name one or more of their approved endos.

They're the insurers that pay you back in discounts on trainers and free coffees if you exercise. Unfortunately since lockdown one (coinciding with my hashis diagnosis), I have not been well enough to exercise so I'm paying a fortune every month with an enormous excess and haven't claimed yet. I'm feeling slightly more cognitively able this week so figure I had better give the private route a try before resorting to self medicating yet again!!

BUPA can be similarly confusing, so I phone them up and either give the name of the doctor I want to see and ask if they're covered, or else ask for the names of doctors they recognise for the condition I want treated. I am PMing you details of a possibly helpful endocrinologist in the South East.
